I may write about myself in the third person from time to time, but it's just me, myself, and I here. I'm a Graphic & Fine Artist from Metro Detroit, but the "Fine" comes first. Self-expression through visual art is my thing. Everything else I do is just to make that possible.

My given name is Jennifer Boettner, but growing up I was "Jenny B." and as an artist I've been jB, jennifer Anne, and now jinny, and that's who I plan to be from here on out.

I studied Graphic Design at Michigan State University, and while I love it in the right context, my heart belongs to the fine arts. After a lifetime of dabbling, I finally & serendipitously began furiously creating in early 2021.

In September of 2024 I ventured out to ArtPrize for the first time, and in October of 2024 I held my first exhibition titled "Good Girl." Since then I've been live painting, I've been to ArtPrize a second time, and I'm planning my second solo show.

I'm also a self-published author with a companion book to my first exhibition, and will likely put out another to go with my second show. Take a look around, and tell me somethin' good while you're at it. Thanks for bein' here. :)
